Multiple Births Benefit

Entitlement

This new benefit came into force in January 2024.

Every subsequent child after first born (e.g. the birth of a twin or triplets are eligible to this benefit.

Applicants who already have multiple birth can also apply, but same will be applicable effective January 24. 

• proof of confinement of multiple birth.
• birth certificate of child/children,
• ID card for new born/parent/guardian
• Proof of guardianship either Family Tribunal, Social Services or a recognized legal body (where necessary);
• Valid bank account

Application is done in the district.

Payment

• SR3134/- per child cap at SR6633.47/- (New benefit 2024)

Duration

• Birth to five years old.
