Maternity Benefit

Description

Benefit paid to a person who is self-employed or employed and who is confined or expected to be confined.

Eligibility

• The person must be in employment as a self-employed or employed person on the day immediately preceding the beginning of the period for which she is claiming the benefit.
• The person is not carrying out any business during the period in which she is confined.
• The employed person receives the full income from the employer, after which the employer claims for reimbursement of the maternity benefit

• Valid ID Card
