The Agency for Social Protection held a long service award ceremony at Berjaya Beau Vallon Bay Resort and Casino on Friday 25th October to recognise employees who have served for several years within the government of Seychelles.
Thirty awardees with between five and thirty six years of service were rewarded, most of them still working for Agency.
They received a certificate of recognition, a voucher and a bouquet of flowers.
During her speech, the Minister of Employment and Social Affairs, Mrs. Patricia Francourt, placed great emphasis on their many years of devotion, hard work and commitment.
President Wavel Ramkalawan and Minister Francourt presented the award to the longest serving employee, Ms Marie-France Souris.
After the ceremony, a dinner was organized to celebrate the occasion and staff danced the night away until midnight.
